The Sinew Releases & Clinical Techniques

This rarely offered course teaches the applications of the Jingjin/Sinew Channels.The course covers the various clinical skills and techniques needed to become proficient at utilizing the
Sinew Channels and Sinew Releases. Multiple needling techniques will be demonstrated and correlated to various clinical situations. The design of this course is demonstration and
practicum. Students will both observe the Sinew Release techniques and have time for supervised practice, often missing from more theoretical presentations.

Clinical Applications:
• Review of foundational principles & theory of the Jingjin/Sinew Channels
• Clinical techniques & demonstrations: needling, moxabustion, gua sha, cupping
• Herbal applications for sinew damage: liniments, soft plasters, soak-compresses
• Clinical applications & case studies: live demonstrations and case study review
• Bizheng/Bi-obstruction, TMJ, facial paralysis (Bell’s palsy) convergence disorder, tinnitus
• Applications of the yin sinew channels will include GYN conditions, pelvic floor disorders,
erectile dysfunction and others
• Treatment planning discussions
